One of the *sexiest* beach in Karnataka is Kudle beach.
Fresh air, Clean Water, Less Crowd, More Fun!! What else to ask for?
It gives the most positive vibes as compared to other beaches in India.
Road Trip:
As a road tripper, I took the road to Gokarna. And it turned out to be the best road trip I've ever taken.
The zigzag road became a marvelous roller coaster ride. I didn't even get a second to sit upright in my car, at least for the next 20 minutes.
The road passed through the forest, green trees covered the road from both sides and dead silence was capped on the road, only 1-2 cars passed every half an hour.
Although it's morning time but trees vesture was so vast that not a single ray of sunlight passing through it, turning it into a dark street.
*Also there were no restaurants or anything on the way, & our condition was deteriorating due to hunger. But bless the Abhiruchi restaurant owner who proved to be the अन्न देवता (god of food) for us.*
The restaurant was so good and clean. Their food is also good plus the cleanliness they maintained is applaudable.*
On The Beach:
After 4 hours drive, we finally reached our destination.
*The view was so splendid from top of the mount that we forget to capture an aerial view of the Kudle Beach.*
Finding the beach became quite an adventure for us.
We parked our car on top of the mount, and walked downwards, and kept on walking-walking for the next 20 minutes through the narrow lane before finally hearing the beach.
Its crystalline water bumping into each other, making loudspeaker noise; (and the scorching sun overhead burning my neck), but the view was splendid. I couldn't wait to dive into the water & lie here all day, still I'm glad to finally enter my beachside resort as the heat was killing my beach-vibes.
In The Water:
After an hour we dived into the water, playing, sporting, swimming and time passed so fast that *पता ही नहीं चला *
The most mesmerising thing is the Sunset.
How To Reach:
By road-
-You can self-drive or book a taxi from any prominent destination.
-Kudle Beach is at 15 min walk from the bus stand of Gokarna. You can take an auto or go for an adventure way, by walking.
Stays:
-There are numerous beach resorts which you can book. And it is advisable to go for beach resorts as (i) they are cheap as compared to other resorts which are located at a distance (ii) you'll have your personal beach where you can enjoy till night. Some of the stays are:
(i) Zostel Gokarna
(ii) Sanskruti Resort
(iii) Lotus Beach Resort- We booked this one but the experience was 3 star, they didn't have much staff, and their room service and room condition was also not that good.
(iv) Gokarna International Beach Resort
Food:
-If you are a vegetarian carry some snacks with you, as their vegetarian food is not upto mark
-Sea food is good
Tips:
-Carry sunscreen, no matter whichever season you are going
-& most importantly, don't forget to take a walk on the beach
