I and my 3 friends planned to go out this weekend which was supposedly the last weekend for the year 2019. We thought to go spend some nice time outside of the city. The itenary was unplanned do here it comes.
We started from Bangalore by 5.30 am by cab to Coorg. We have already booked a place there through Airbnb for a days stay, it was a cottage for 4 of us for Rs. 3,500 and was located at a place called Rasulpura, I am sharing the link as well https://www.airbnb.co.in/rooms/9554458?source_impression_id=p3_1577577600_FZ9Z%2FhFz0aH%2BdU6v
We reached the destination by around 12.3o pm in the afternoon and had a small break. We didn't plan much .
By 3pm we reached the Buddhist golden temple. This is a place of the Buddhist monks and you can feel the flavour of it in the entire place.
Later after that we went to Chiklihole Dam which is less than an hour drive from the temple. We went around 4-4.30 pm and there weren't much of any tourists attraction. Trust me this is a place where you can enjoy the beauty of that place. Do visit this place after 4 so that you can enjoy the beautiful sunset between 2 cliffs were the river runs through it. The way towards this dam will be amazing if you are travelling by bike do ride by this way.
We started later off to a nearby elephant ranch called the Dubare elephant ranch. We reached there by around 5.30pm which was the closing time. Still we thought to atleast take a look at this place. It was too crowded and we had a short walk in the river. This place has sight seeing of the elephants and a still water rafting.so we started our exploration by 2.30 pm.
This was pretty much about our day 1 and later we returned back to Anirva cottage the place we stay at Coorg.
The next day we thought to spend little so we had a late start for the day. Took the start by around 11.30 am and headed for our breakfast. After the breakfast we had only one itenary for the day, that was go to a waterfalls and spend time then end the day.
We had abbey falls but there we can't bath so our cab driver took us to another falls called the Malalli which really 2as awestruck. It was a long drive from our place but was totally worth it. During this time of the month the force of the water was less. We had to go down after reaching the falls through Car. We went down on stairs which was built there and later once we reached the place we were amused by the beauty of nature.
It was really a nice place to spend the rest of the day but we were short of time so we headed back up once after we took bath for and hour and so which was the difficult as climbing up the stairs made us sweat like anything. But it was worth the climb.
If you are planning on a short trip I suggest you try out coorg if you are nearby to this place.
