Bhuleshwar Temple: lose yourself in ancient Shiva Temple.

Have you ever come across experiences which are truely rewarding and comes across at totally unexpected places. Thanks to an office colleague, who suggested me to visit this place.

A TRIP TO bhuleswar temple near Yavat will leave you with one such experiences. This temple is ancient, Pure and not yet commercialized. 

The queue is not long and you will get a sense of serenity and peace while waiting your turn for Darshan.

The place is only 45 kms from Pune. This temple was built in 13th century by Yadava rules. You can see resemblances to Hasan and Halebeedu temple in Karnataka, which was built roughly around same time.

My guess is that same artisans worked on these projects moving from places to places.

The drive is smooth and quick. Till Yavat it is four lane and after that its short ride to temple.

Do visit this ancient temple while it is still in its pure form. You never know...tomorrow you may have to take special Darshan ticket to pass that endless queue.
