To be known as the Silicon City of the country and people busy hustling with their lives, we forget that we have some refreshing places in Bangalore which indeed makes life so relaxing and peaceful.

Who wouldn't love to go to the parks for a refreshing early morning walk or an evening freshen-up session after a hectic day?

I've been living in Bangalore for 13 years now and wasn't able to visit this scenic park situated in the heart of the city; it's nothing less than Central Park in New York.

Yes, you've guessed it right – I'm talking about Cubbon Park!

Cubbon Park has a lot of history associated with it and is most likely one of the lone parks to have a bustling street slicing through it. Before sunrise or night, it's a jogger's heaven. Spring adds to the magnificence of this park, with the dazzling and vivid Tabebuia trees in full sprout.

With the amazing greenery it has carried over the years and the radiant colors of the flowers on the tress, with an amazing relaxing touch that comes along when you visit Cubbon Park, is all that's needed either to begin your day on a fresh note or end it peacefully.

You must be wondering of why I am comparing Central Park and Cubbon park, both the parks are really old and has its own beauty and popularity, and comparatively Central Park is smaller in size than Cubbon park.

All of us do dream of visiting Central Park one or the other day, but why not experience the same thing in our very own Cubbon Park at Bangalore.
