This was a "long weekend holiday" unsure accommodation trip since most of the places we contacted were booked and we decided to give Goa another shot. Having ridden to Goa a few times before on the NH 4 route, we decided to take the coastal route (Sakleshpur - Mangalore - Udupi - Murudeshwar - Honnavar - Karwar - Palolem) - to reach South Goa(Palolem).
Trip Line Up - 1 couple on a Royal Enfield Thundebird - 350 and 1 couple in a Volkswagen Polo.
Riding with coastal humidity can be bloody uncomfortable during the day time and especially when you have friend's in the car with AC looking and feeling fresh asking me how is the weather on my side. I had to wait till sun down to actually enjoy the coastal ride.
We reached a packed over crowded Palolem at around 8.30 P.M after starting from Sakleshpur at 7.00 A.M. There was a lot of uncertainty finding a place to stay and we got lucky with Hangout at Agonda beach ending the day with a peg of Chivas.
The next 2 days were spent relaxing and playing football on the beach side as we had decided not to add to the crowd by going out of Hangout.
We did decide to visit Drupadi for dinner and had to wait for more than an hour to be served.
Return to Bangalore was via - Karwar - Yallapur - Mundagod - Haveri - Chitradurga - Bangalore.
