Me and my friend started at around 7 am from Banglore. It was a pleasent morning and Ride was very smooth. We stoped in bidadi to finish our breakfast and you know bidadi is know for "THATTE IDDLI".After finishing it we headed towards Mysore road.
we reached Mandya around 12 pm and then headed towards KRS dam . This is calm and more beautiful place . The Brindhavana garden is noteable for its greenery and water falls.
Guys don't miss this place .The temple is really beautiful and stunning view of KRS back waters from this place. Best place to visit sun set , earlier this temple was submurged in back waters later it is rebuilt on the bank so it's really exciting to view the Structure. We spent around a hour here.
Around 2pm we reached Mysore and visited historical palace . Entry fee was around 40₹ . We saw all corners of palace and it was priceless . Now the time fill our stomach we went to daba and ordered roti curry .After lunch we headed towards himadgopalswamy , Gundlupete Which is around 78 kms from Mysore. On the way don't miss to have watermelons near najungudu.
Reach this place at 4:30pm , remember last bus is on 5pm so be there before 5PM. Own vehicles are not allowed only govt buses are allowed here. I bet you that u will enjoy the scenery while traveling in bus and for sure u can spot wildlife such as bison, deers , elephants so be ready with your camera to take some pictures.
Once u reached temple u will be having around 1 hr of time to next bus in that time visit the temple and take a blessings of gopalaswamy , start observing for wildlife on the hills and experience the please and cool air breeze.
We stayed at bandipur and early morning jeep safari was memorable. We are lucky to spot lepord during the safari and after safari headed back to banglore.
