If you are in Bangalore and love evening rides more than club hopping but don't know where to go. If you are a person who relishes calm more than hustle bustle of the city and if you are a person who is a die hard romantic then you must visit the places listed below for you next evening road trip.
1. Sher-e-Punjab Dhaba- As the name suggests, it's a Punjabi dhaba situated at Bangalore-Thirupati highway near Hoskote. It has real Punjab feels with options to sit on cots (Typical Punjabi style) and fairly good food. Great place to have dinner after a long ride especially when the weather is good which is very usual in Bangalore. You can sit under the moonlit sky on the cots and enjoy your conversations over mouthwatering food.
2. Rasta Cafe- This place needs no introduction as it's know to all bangalorians. It's situated on Bangalore-Mysore highway. A great place for romantic dates or to hang out with friends. It has a cozy vibe to it which makes you forget about all your everyday woes. They have options of sitting outdoor and indoor both. So if you enjoy hookah, can probably sit outside and devour their wood fired pizzas.
3. Chai Garam Chai Cafe- This cafe is located at Budigere-Devanhalli road (On the way to International Airport). It's a little difficult to find this one, as it's surrounded by foliage but it's huge inside. It can surprise you in various ways; very cozy and lovely ambiance with delicious food and various options of indoor games like pool table, table tennis, carom etc. I love exploring new places but this one is closest to my heart. It's a little paradise away from concrete and in middle of nowhere. Sounds romantic already? Please visit, you will fall in love all over again.
4. Indian Prantha Company- Famous for it's pranthas, it's located at Bangalore-Hyderabad highway. A perfect weekend stop for dinner and some great conversations as it opens till 1 am. Must try their pizza pranthas and lassi. It has a very warm and welcoming vibe which would definitely make you revisit this place.
5. Cafe Coffee Day (Kolar)- Now you must be wondering why CCD in this list? It's present in every nook and corner of the city but not this one my friend. This CCD is located at Kolar Highway which is quite a long drive from the city. It serves round the clock and has a very cozy ambiance. This CCD has a very special place in my life as I happen to fall in love at this place. So the tagline "a lot can happen over a coffee" actually worked for me.
