When you need to take a break from your 9 to 5 duties, these short weekend trips help and are a boon to your low life energy. For my weekend, I had been to Karjat which is just 2-3 hours away from my home yet has a very different vibe. I left for Karjat in the early morning itself so that I get maximum time to spend there. Nahur - Thane & Thane - Karjat, I changed two trains, got a tum tum at Karjat station to reach my final destination: Sentoni Farms. And there I was, the best place I’ve ever been to for a weekend. The farm was so huge and had so many exciting indoor & outdoor activities. I kinda tried my hands on each of it, had lunch which was cooked by care takers who lived there: Bhakri & Chicken. Headed towards the balcony and experienced an eye catching & mesmerising view. That entire cold & breezy night I spent on the hammock gazing stars and thinking about how lucky I am to live such a fruitful life. The next day in the afternoon, greeted Goodbye to all the care takers who had been a part of my AMAZING weekend, who made sure that I have the best day there and thus with a heavy heart, took a leave. I had such a relaxing trip to Karjat that all of my exhaustion disappeared and went fresh to work the next morning. One thing Karjat changed in me was CHAI haha, I was never a Chai fan but visiting Karjat made me Chai lover for sure.
