I have been planning an international trip with my friends for a very long time. We've often decided to go all out and visit places the likes of Las Vegas and Spain, however, the paucity of time (and sometimes, money) always acts as a deterrent to us actually taking a trip together. I've recently been on the lookout for a destination that offers things to do for all of us, be affordable, is close to India, and yet is unique and exciting. So I have zeroed in on... Macao! Macao's glittering skyscrapers, bustling night life and historic landmarks make it South East Asia's hottest travel destination. Here are the 20 things I would like to do in Macao.
1. Ruins of St. Paul's: Biggest Catholic Church of East Asia
2. Senado Square: UNESCO World Heritage Site
3. The Venetian: Vegas and Venice themed hotel
4. Macao Tower: Stunning view of Macao
5. A-Ma Temple: Temple from the year 1488 devoted to Goddess Matsu
6. Fisherman's Wharf: Themed shopping mall and park
7. Macao Museum: Exhibits from different communities and cultures
8. Wine and Grand Prix Museum: Displays of Grand Prix cars and processes of wine brewing
9. Fortaleza de Monte: Historical cannons, barracks, cisterns
10. Hac Sa Beach: Largest natural beach
11. Kun I Am Statue: Statue of Goddess Mercy
12. St. Lawrence Church: Neo-classical Portuguese church
13. Macao Canidrome Club: Greyhound racing avenue
14. Guia Fortress: Fortress overlooking the ocean
15. City of Dreams: Best pubs and bars
