You will also have to cross a few bridges and tolls along the way. The route from Shillong to Krang Suri Waterfalls is as follows:
- Take the NH6 from Shillong towards Jowai.
- After about 60 km, turn left at Pasyih junction towards Amlarem.
- After about 20 km, turn right at Amlarem market towards Krang Suri.
- After about 10 km, you will reach the entrance of Krang Suri Waterfalls.
You can also reach Krang Suri Waterfalls by public transport from Shillong. You can take a bus or a shared taxi from Shillong to Jowai, which costs about Rs. 100 per person and takes about 2 hours.
From Jowai, you can take another bus or a shared taxi to Amlarem, which costs about Rs. 50 per person and takes about an hour. From Amlarem, you can take a local taxi or an auto-rickshaw to Krang Suri Waterfalls, which costs about Rs. 100 per person and takes about half an hour.
