Early morning we took the booked bus and our travel started to Joshimath. We reached Joshimath in the evening and instantly took a shared taxi to Badrinath and checked in the hotel(If you want cheaper stays just try to check with those which are a bit far from the bus stand and not on the road) and called the day off.
Our third day of journey began by visiting the Badrinath temple such a beautiful place with positive vibes everywhere. We explored the temple and trekked to Charn Paduka(3 km from the temple, just ask from the locals and they will guide you). We also took bath in the kund(hot water) situated inside the temple. Daily we spent around ₹350 for food per person and our hotel room was ₹1000-₹1200.
We booked a cab(₹500) and visited the last Indian village(MANA), approx 3-4 km from the temple.
The village is very beautiful and a must visit as it has many historical and religious importance. Here you can visit vyas temple, Saraswati udgam sthal, Ganesh gufa and Bhimshila. There are two treks also which can be done but we skipped as it requires a lot of time and a guide to do these (Vasudhara(5km)and Santopanth(25kms) ).
Early morning took a bus from the bus stand and came back to Haridwar and then back to Lucknow (next day).
We(Me and my 2 cousins) started my travelling from Lucknow (lko), took a train to dehradun. We arrived Dehradun in the evening and first thing we did is to visit the bus stand and book the bus to Joshimath (timings of the bus is 5-6 am and the fare is approx ₹700). After booking the bus we checked in the nearby hotel.
