Jodhpur city is always in my to do visit list. There are many historical places to visit in this city. Also nice place to do window shopping specially Rajasthani art. I love the fort - mehrangarh : A well maintained fort. It is largest fort in India. Well i can say take audio tour and it is worth to pay for same. A palaces and museum situated inside fort is remarkable.
Jaswant thada is nearby place to the fort. It's cenotaph of royal family. The peaceful place is surrounded by small lake. A peacock cenotaph is also there with interesting history. The architecture of main cenotaph is remarkable.
Mandore Garden : You can't miss to visit this place. It is the collection of ruin temples, memorials and cenotaph. One museum is also located inside the garden.
Ummaid Bhavan palace is modern palace of this era. Part of this palace is converted in luxurious hotel and managed by Taj hotel group. Another part of palace is converted in museum also.
