Arrival at the Lake city of Udaipur | Exploring Udaipur

Famous as the most romantic destination of the country, Udaipur never fails to impress its visitors. From sparkling lakes to majestic palaces, from bustling streets to serene temples, the city has a lot to woo your heart.

We started touring the city with a visit to the City Palace.

City Palace: Set on the beautiful Lake Pichola, the palace epitomises royalty and luxury. The palace is built over a period of 400 years with contributions from a number of rulers.

After City Palace, take a boat ride at Lake Pichola and explore Jag Mandir.

Later head towards Jagdish Temple and enjoy shopping at Hathi Pol and Chand Pol.

If you are left with time, don’t miss the traditional dance show at Ghangour Ghat.

Leave Udipur for Mount Abu

A drive from Udaipur to Mount Abu is extremely scenic. On arrival at this hill station, visit Dilwara Jain Temple and Nakki Lake.

PS: I didn’t found Mount Abu very impressive. So left for Jodhpur without staying. You can choose for yourself. ????

Exploring Jodhpur

Jodhpur, famous as the Blue City, is home to the most majestic fort of the country- the Mehrangarh Fort. Towering the blue city, this fort is an architectural masterpiece and offers sensational views of the surroundings.

Later, head towards Jaswant thada and Umaid Bhawan
