Delhi to Jibhi 3 Days Itinerary: A Complete Travel Guide for Banjar Valley 2021 Trip | Heena Bhatia

Hello, my friends! Here I come up with another perfect travel itinerary for you all. I recently visited Jibhi Banjar Valley, Tirthan Valley (in March 2021), and would like to share my experience through this blog. I would also mention here the places that you should not miss while planning a trip to Jibhi.

About Jibhi( In Banjar Valley)

Jibhi, a hidden paradise in Himachal Pradesh. The place is situated amidst the lush green forests and is considered the perfect place for those who need to relax and are in search of a peaceful moment with their loved ones. Jibhi, an offbeat place in Himachal Pradesh, still in 2021 untouched by commercialization and hence, fully surrounded by nature.

The dark green dense pine forests, tranquil waterfalls, and pristine temples attract travelers here. I am sure, you will be spellbound after staying in cozy Victorian-style cottages that make you feel like that you are living in the Victorian Period. So, Jibhi is a perfect place to enjoy a cup of chai in the fresh air while listening to the sweet chirpings of the birds.

Now, I am considering Delhi as a center point from where you will begin your journey.

How to Reach from Delhi to Jibhi By Bus or Train?

The total distance between Delhi to Jibhi is around 500km approx. and there are no direct buses to Jibhi. In Addition, no direct train available to reach Jibhi as well. Thus, I am dividing the route that you need to follow as it is for your comfort Journey.

Board an overnight bus for Aut, Himachal Pradesh From Manju ka Tilla, Delhi (Total Distance (480 Km approx.)

Important Note: You have to make sure that the driver is dripping you at the exact Aut Bus stand ( so that you can board your direct bus easily). The bus stand comes after Aut Tunnel and sometimes the driver drops the passenger before that.

Aut to Banjar Valley Direct Bus

Now board a direct bus from Aut Bus stand to Banjar. The total distance between Aut & Bnajar is around 30 km. And the fares are also very reasonable.

Banjar to Jibhi (10 KM Approx)

As far I observed, there are a smaller number of buses available for Jibhi From the Banajr bus stand. Hence, you must opt for a cab from there to reach Jibhi.

So, that is how you will be reaching Jibhi from Delhi. This is the most sorted way that can help you to reach Jibhi easily.

Now let's know about the must-visit places in Jibhi and its around locations.

Jibhi waterfall

Jibhi waterfall is beautifully covered with greenery around with wooden lovely small bridges over the stream which is flowing down from the waterfalls. Also, the area at the waterfalls is nicely paved with stone. the look resembles something like a pool where you would feel like swimming. 

The untouched nature at Jibhi waterfall will take you back to times where you will feel no interference of man-made beautification. This location is easily accessible and very enchanting. If you are lucky, you'll also get a chance to witness a rainbow in the waterfall in the morning times.

Jibhi Waterfall, Banjar Valley

In past, the Chehni Kothi in Jibhi was only accessible by walking. But now, the roads have been built to reach the main point of Chehni Kothi. Otherwise, one who wished to do the trek to reach here can start from the Shringi Rishi Temple in Bagi Village. The path is well defined and can be done without a guide. In order to reach the temple, you have to travel around 3 km from Jibhi towards Banjar. Please note, there would be no local bus available that goes to this place, so you should have your vehicle or arrange for cabs.

Wanna travel like yeh Jawani hai deewani? Then, don't even think to miss this place in your Jibhi Exploration. Jalori Pass is situated at an altitude of 10,500 ft above sea level. At around 6 km from Jibhi, the drive to the Pass is breathtakingly beautiful. If you remember the scene of Bheron ka mandir from the blockbuster movie Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani? Well, that scene was shot in Jalori at this very place, at least that is what a local told me. Jalori pass offers an insane 360-degree view of snow-covered mountains. This path also leads to the nearby Serolsar Lake and 'Budhi Naagin' temple. This place is highly recommended from my side to all the backpackers out there. Cheers.

Scenic View From Jalori PassJalori Pass Temple

Raghupur Fort

Raghupur Fort offers another trek in Jibhi and the total distance is around short 3 km. You can enjoy a splendid 360-degree view of the valley. From Serolsar Lake only, it's a very easy trail through dense oke forest towards Raghupur, that will take you to a very scenic Raghupur.

Serlosar Lake

Serolsar Lake is a stunning pristine mystical lake. And, you have to trek from Jalori Pass to reach the main point. Serlosar lake trek has a total distance of 6 km. A short one and half hour trek will take you to the lake. The trek is not difficult at all. There is also a temple of Budhi Nagin that is a holy place and tourists stop by to pay respects.
