Christmas in Japan 2020

As it would be probably the same as everywhere in the rest of the world, Christmas in Japan this year is quite different. The posh areas in Ginza is expected to be less crowded this year and less people are going out to see Christmas illuminations in such places as Roppongi or Omotesando. Still the grocery department of major department store are jam-packed with people who are buying Christmas cakes and other foods to celebrate Christmas this evening. Especially families with children will celebrate Christmas at home so many parents are shopping.
