There are 195 countries in the world and we only have a lifetime to see as many as we can. Even Dalai Lama says, "Once a year, go someplace you have never been before."

I am 26 years old and have been to 13 countries till date. I make sure to cross a country or two off my list every year. I have also made peace with the fact that not every place on earth can be made a home for months, like I did not want to stay back in Dubai after a week of vacation, but I could have lived for ever in Vietnam. I have also spent a month in Indonesia, and can't wait to go back again.

But for those times when you don't have time off from work enough to get away for more than seven days, I have found seven countries that are perfect to be explored in just a week. So, don't worry about anything and just book a flight to visit these larger-than-life countries that will take your breath away, no matter how much time you spend there.
