Day 1

Started my journey from my home to darbhanga by bus at 8am .

At darbhanga junction a passenger train would (10:15am) drop us(travelling with a buddy )to Raxaul junction nearly 5pm .

From there we walked to the main market of raxaul which was 3 km from the station

There we took a Tanga(horse cart) to cross india nepal border to reach BIRGANJ (In nepal).

At Birganj:

U will get buses in morning(6-8am)and evening(6-8pm)

Also Get a nepali sim card ,Convert 2000rs in nepali (3200nepali) .

Plz do taste nepali beer as it will ease your long tiring bus ride.(nepal allows drinking and smoking in public places. )

We booked 6pm bus to pokhara which dropped us at 5:15 am ,because there were huge jam on the highway and volvo buses are city bus there .

After welcoming 2020 we went to our hotel and finished whatever booze we left.

Things i liked in pokhara :

1- the place is fully wifi connected

2- street food

3- Lakeside cafe’s

Day 3

Although kathmandu was not in our wishlist but i dunno how we end-up reaching there .

We took a bus from Prithvi chowk in pokhara at 10am and we reached kathmandu at 6pm. We booked a guest house which cost us 600 nepali.

Kathmandu is for shopaholic . Clothes and stuffs were way cheaper than pokhara .

That day we didn’t explore much kathmandu because we were tired from a long journey.

Day 4

We went to see Pasupathinath temple by city bus . Kathmandu has a lot of temples and monastery. We had limited time so we wish-listed Pashupatinath temple and kopan monastery.

We managed to do temple but couldn’t make it to Monastery because we have our bus to catch which will depart at 6pm from new bus park kathmandu for janakpur .

The temple is a heritage and sacred for hindus.

You will get the feeling of mental peace at the moment u enter the temple compound.

4 people and police are very helpful

5 Indian currency is easily exchangeable

Nepal cons :

1 the bus ride are too tiring

2 kathmandu is polluted u need a mask

At last nepal surprised me and i m definitely going to visit it once more.

Keep travelling.

Peace
