Namikala pass, in the Zanskar region, connects the Jammu and kashmir leh highway. This pass, which is 3699 meters above sea level, is also called as the pillars of a sky passes. Namikala pass is on the road to Mulbek valley.

Tourists may observe Maitreya Buddha’s rock sculptures as well as a Gompa. It is one of the most significant passes in Ladakh, as well as the final one before entering the Kargil area.

There are a lot of signboards that provide vital information. Although it is a desolate landscape, after you cross the pass, you will be rewarded with a beautiful vista of the lush green surrounds and snow-capped peaks.
