Must see places in Dal Lake (yes you read it right - there are places to be seen within this hugeeeee lake) - Floating Gardens, Meena Bazar, Golden Lake area

Gulmarg - the most fascinating thing about Gulmarg is the awesome Ropeway which takes you right at the top of the hills all covered with snow. There are 2 levels to which the ropeway will take you - Level 1 is more like a huge ground surrounded by hills and a couple of places to eat..Level 2 is where the real beauty awaits...Lush white snow capped peaks - clouds touching your face and the Sun shining bright right over you - so do not forget to carry a Sun Block - trust me you can get a bad tan here!

Another Gem of a place...beautiful surroundings - you can enjoy a sled ride but dont be surprised seeing little bunch of kids dragging these sleds for you....Must do - have garma garam maggi n Tea @ the mini shops...you will never enjoy it better than this place!

Pahalgam is the most beautiful place in the entire kashmir - its like that childhood scenery we used to make...a river flowing between the hills...small huts around and lots of flowers...this place is like a dream!!
