Aamir Khurusu has aptly stated that 'Agr firdous baroye zameen ast, hami asto, hami asto, hami ast' which means 'If there is paradise on earth, it's here it's here, it's here'. Kashmir is known as paradise on earth because of its mild climate, the snow capped mountains, lush green valleys, fresh ponds etc. It is a fairyland for everyone. Kashmir is home of many Mughal gardens and lakes especially Dal Lake. A day spent in the dal lake on shikaras is one of the best feeling ever. Shikara ride over the dal lake at the time of sunrise or sunset makes you forget your worries and provides immense pleasure which can't be explained in words. The water is so clean, calm and serene and the leaves floating on it glorify it's beauty.
