After exploring the North-West edge of Kashmir on a rented Royal Enfield, I decided to head to a valley that is probably the most popular in Northern Kashmir, the Lolab Valley, also known by locals as “Wadi-e-Lolab”.
Lolab Valley is a beautiful oval- shaped valley, nestled between Kashmir and Neelum Valleys in the Kupwara District. This means that from Tangdhar, I had to go back to Kupwara and then ride towards north.

Usually, tourists do a day trip to Lolab Valley from Srinagar. Since I am a slow traveler and I wanted to explore this region more, I spent few days here.
I did a full loop of Lolab Valley crossing Sogam – Chandigam – Tekipora – Tekiya Khurhama – Nagmarg – Khruhama – Rednaag – Lalpora – Darpora – Krusan.
