Pink city Jaipur

Welcome to the Pink City !!!

Something called as Gate / Darwaze is found on every road of Jaipur and when you stop by to understand the way to a particular place the local residents explain as " Us Darawase se Bahar Nikal Jana "  which sound so funny ....

Something really nice about the city is that entire shops have symetry in terms of coverage and boards and hoardings hung on them !!!

But Jaipur is really commerical and being close to Delhi , it is almost the same !!! If anyone who has not been to interios of Rajstahan like Jodhpur /Jaisalmer and Udaipur , can see glimpses of Delhi and rajasthan in Jaipur ...but for me who came from interiors of the state to Jaipur I found it very very commerical and no pure elements of Rajasthani Culture !!!

Well this was not at all on my list , but my hotel guy told me it's a must visit when you are in Jaipur so had to. Well it did not turn out bad , it was really nice ...but there were soo many people and place was crowded like anything !!!
People had to wait for 45 minutes to get their table ...But the palace is a good attempt and a good replace of Rajasthani Villages and culture !!!
The food was good and they charge you 800 and 1100 for the unlimited food thali that they serve you !!!

Rajasthani Attire for a RAJASTHANI Meal !! A request for everyone who reads this posts , who so ever going to such type of restaurant where you get served unlimited food , PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT WASTE FOOD !!!
The food wasted here in your plates cannot be consumed ,except by the animals and there are lot of people out there who actually need it !!!

Everybody knows it that Hawa Mahal only exterior facade is good but yet still everyone visits Hawa Mahal !!!
So did I !!!
The exterior facade is only good and there is nothing inside the Mahal except for
rooms !!
Infact there is no Hawa also inside the Mahal !!

The city palace of Jaipur is located  in a very congested street of the city !! Very normal palace as compared to palaces which I have seen in the other parts of the state !!!
But it is one of the major attractions of the city !!

Well this is a palace that people can only see from outside ..Not at all maintained .....
Dirty lake and Really Bad Mahal !!!

The only thing best about Jaipur is Amber Fort !!!!
And if some one hasn't been here , its a must ... It is a beautiful and an amazing fort .Huge in comparison to other forts seen in Jaipur , but not close to Mewad Architecture !!
Mewad is all together a different league !!

The other best part about this place is , that there is no restriction to go to any part of the fort ....
Unlike palaces and fort in Mewar , only some areas within the fort is allowed to walk through ...But this fort , you can walk , run into any rooms , halls or tunnels ....
The tunnel is the the second best part of the Fort
It is said the tunnel connects the Naharangarh Fort and Amber fort ...and was used by kings to Espace the enemy !!

Second most beautiful thing is Jaipur !!
You get a complete view of the city from this place and each room is converted into modern art room , of which the most I like is this sound modern art !!! Where a drop of water makes music in the entire room !!!

Just Managed to find this new restaurant opened in Jaipur " School or Chool "whatever one would like to pronounce it !!!

I had gol gappe shorts ,Spicy watermelon mint fresco , and dabeli bruschetta!!
Amazing concept of the school, the library and sitting arrangement !!
