KULDHARA VILLAGE is a village present lying in 17kms West of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. It is a abandoned village as well as ghost village also an archaeological site.

This village is abandoned since the 1800s, for a curse that cannot be lifted. A sinful minister called Salim Singh forcefully wanted to marry a beautiful villager who belongs to Paliwal Brahmin. Minister threatened her family to take hold of her. The 83 family villagers left the place leaving an undying spell so that no one could ever live or breed on this land.

Also there are different stories exist about this village since it's abandoned. Now ASI (Archaeological Survey of India)maintaining this place. Rajasthan Tourism also trying to develop this place and making a famous tourist spot for dark tourism.
