I often meet travellers who travel whole year, they socialize with people, know there culture and lot more stuff. But if you are on a budget trip and a limited time to travel then travelling is a real art. I covered 5 places in 6 days and explored each and every inch of it and here is how I did it..

Day 1

I took a flight to jaipur from Bangalore, my friend was waiting on station and then we headed towards jodhpur, it was an overnight journey. In the train we met some locals and tried to learn more about the city. We reached jodhpur at 4 am in the morning. It was still dark outside and sky was full of stars. We reached our hotel Bal Samand Lake Palace (stay was from office ) by 4:45am as it was almost outside the city. Darkness of the palace freaked me out but the palace staff and auto rikshaw driver was really helpful.

We checked in and took some rest by 6:30 we were ready for breakfast in the royal kitchen.

Then we took an auto(250 rs to and fro) and visited umaid bhawan(priyanka Nick wedding destination) and museum. There is a series of vintage car opposite to palace.

After umaid bhawan we went to mehrengarh fort which is a huge palace with museum and lot of shops and local vendors inside it.

Watching sunset at mehrengarh fort was mesmerizing.

We tried the world famous rajasthani pyaz kachori and mirchi pakode and bought some soveniers from local shop while trekking back from mehrengarh fort.

Day 2

Next day morning, We took a cab to jaiselmer (281kms) the route was scary as you won't see anyone on the highway. But our driver kept telling us stories about tourist from different places. We covered jaiselmer fort the only living fort in India, Patwon ki haveli, gadisar lake and skipped lunch to hustle towards sam sand dunes as I didn't want to miss sunset in the desert.

By 5pm we reached the camp and then headed for sunset over camel safari..

Believe me this was the best sunset i have ever seen. After sunset we came back to tents and there we got entertained by rajasthani folk-dance. We stayed overnight in desert camp.

Day 3

We left jaiselmer early morning 5am as we had train from jodhpur to Mt.Abu it was a hectic day as full day went in travelling and we reached our hotel in evening 6pm

As we were very tired, so, decided to hatch back at hotel and took a tour of the hotel which was again a beautiful palace (stay was arranged by my office).

Day 6

We left mt Abu to reach udaipur before 4.. So that we can take udaipur palace tour. But to our bad luck there was some event organised in the palace and it closed early by 3:30pm. So, we just clicked some pictures from outside and took an auto to reach the pichola lake, there we took a boat ride which costed only 150 Rs each.

We also went to karni mata temple through ropeway. The city view from the top was breathe taking.

After this we went to some local shops in the market and then we headed towards railway station to catch a train to jaipur.

As we were on a budget trip and only two stay were allowed on office budget, So, we didn't take a stay in udaipur, instead we took a train to jaipur.

Day 4

Next day morning, We took a local tourist bus as we had less time and many places to cover and we didn't wanted to miss anything.

And we covered amazing temples of mt.abu including the architectural marvel "dilwara temple", nakki lake, toad rock.

As i never miss sunset while i'm on tour. So, in evening we rushed towards sunset point and spent some time gazing the beauty of nature.

On our way back to hotel we decided to take a local market tour and so we walked around 7 km.

Day 7

We reached jaipur early morning checked into the hotel and left the hotel by 9 to visit the mighty amber fort.. we rented scooty here to save time..

The amber fort actually represents the divinity and royalty of rajasthan. It will make you feel proud of how rich is indian culture.

We hiked towards the nahargarh fort from the tunnel and took a battery rikshaw to come back.

These palaces and forts speaks a lot about our history and heritage.

While coming back we halted and did a shopping near hawa Mahal. And finally I caught my flight at the last moment.

That's why I say it is freaking dare to cover all this in 6 days.
