I went to Jaipur for 4 days and it was a best experience for me in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Jaipur gets its name from its founder Maharaja JaiSingh II (1693-1744) the great warrior and astronomer. He spent the Khajana stored in Jaigarh fort to build this beautiful city. As we reach at 11 at Jaipur so though to spent the second half for the tour.
Day 1- Jal Mahal and Step Well and Chokhi Dhani
Jal Mahal-
Beautiful Jal Mahal Jaipur, the Water Palace. This low-rise symmetrical palace, that once was a shooting lodge for the Maharajah, appears to float in the centre of Sagar Lake. The light sand coloured stone walls of the Jal Mahal Jaipur are at a stark contrast to the deep blue of the waters of the lake, while from the innards of the palace lush foliage sprouts. The Jal Mahal is 4km to the north of Jaipur and is located on the main Amer-Jaipur road. Most visitors to the Jal Mahal combine the visit with the Amer fort as both attractions are on the same side of Jaipur. A typical visit to the Jal Mahal will be less than 30 minutes, enough time to take some photos. Apart from the small market stalls and camel rides there is not much else to do at the Jal Mahal.
Step Well-
Which also called as Chand Bauri-Awesome architecture this is found behind the Amer Fort. Stepwells usually consist of two parts: a vertical shaft from which water is drawn and the surrounding inclined subterranean passageways, chambers and steps which provide access to the well. The galleries and chambers surrounding these wells were often carved profusely with elaborate detail and became cool, quiet retreats during the hot summers.
Chokhi Dhani-
Best place must visit place in Jaipur, You will find the whole culture and heritage of Jaipur at one place. Folk song, Dance, food, magic show, monuments, rides, beautiful interior and fine art etc etc etc. Actually it a big place to roam. Chokhi Dhani is a concept capturing the vibrant spirit of Rajasthan and ensuring a perfect Rajasthani experience. Inbound and native tourists have a desire to experience the unique Rajasthani culture. The real Rajasthan, the villages, the paintings, Bani Thani art, the wall decorations, Dipak wall, the fresh air, the evening performances, the enthusiasm, the 'manuhar' (a delicate request to eat till your heart’s desire), the traditions, the costumes and at last but not least the Feelings. At Chokhi Dhani you will find the Rajasthani village art and culture, to get today's generation closer to the roots and the globetrekkers to see Indian village life.
The place is just away from the hustle of the city center where nature is alive around 20km from the city situated on a national highway it was 25 km from my hotel which was at Bani Park. Natural scenic views are ready to serve you and where you can feel the fresh air of Indian rustic villages .A place where you and your family love to come again and again. They collect a minimum fair RS 750,950 and 1200 as your wish you can choose the package.
