Day 1

Bandhavgarh is a tiger reserve located in Madhya Pradesh,India. It has the highest density of tiger population in India.

We drove from Sidhi, Madhya Pradesh to Umaria (place where Bandhavgarh is located). It’s around 3 hours drive and reached by afternoon.

We had an evening Safari planned for us.

This national park consists of tigers, leopards, hyenas, deers, variety of birds and a lot of other animals.

Evening Safari is the time when tigers are mostly out for a stroll and you can see them in water or playing with cubs.

We saw a herd of tigers lying in the river playing with each other and then they crossed in front of us.

We were back to our hotel after the Safari and had nice dinner and slept off.

Day 2

It was very early morning like 5am and we had a Safari at 6am.

This is the best time to spot tigers because tigers are out for hunting in night and returning to their den at this time.

We spotted tigers and had some snacks on the way. Afterwards, we went to a temple which is located in middle of the sanctuary and is approximately 1000 years old which is unique in itself.
