Lake Como or Lago di como is one of the most beautiful lakes in Italy surrounded by Swiss Alps with magnificent picturesque views .
Well we heard mostly about Lake Como that it's a retreat for the rich , affluent , wealthy and lavish wedding venue for the celebrities but in my opinion it's a budget friendly place too .
One hour train from Milan, lake como entertains you with its natural beauty and views. The town I visited in Lake Como is Bellagio Bellagio is a cute little town in Lake Como with adorable cafes and villas and also holds a good history stretching back to thousands of years. This place has luxurious stays with lake views and also 3 star hotels for a night stay. Taking a stroll by the lakeside in the evening is just so soothing and relaxing with such scenic views.

Many celebrities own villas out there also I guess everyone must be aware that Virat Kohli got married at this very beautiful location and so did Deepika Padukone. George Clooney , Madonna , Sylvester stallone have owned many villas on Lake Como shores.
On whole it's a paradise to have a chill day or two if you are visiting Italy.
How we got there - From Milan it's a one hour train ride.
Food Available - Cute cafes with great finger food and also our very own Mc Donald's is available right near the lakeside so you could grab some fries while taking a walk
Climate - Cold during the months of December to Feb , however it's quite a manageable climate .
