Hey there! :)
By now you know me a little, so now I am going to give you a little more insight as to who I am! In the creative aspect, I love Photography (and love being on both the sides of the camera), Videography, Editing (Photos & Videos), Content writing, Blogging etc.
I went on a dream Europe Trip in 2018. The trip was for 19 days and I covered many places starting from Paris and ending at Venice. The cities I covered are Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Milan, Florence, Pisa, Rome and Venice.
The trip was entirely luxurious in terms of our stay, food and things we did. We booked Airbnb's at many locations which turned out to be extremely good. We could cook food for our selves and relax. The houses were really clean and had almost all required amenities. Since I am a vegetarian, I carried a LOT of food. Trust me, this was of GREAT help. I did eat a lot of local cuisine but carrying your own food saves you a lot of money.
Flights and visa costed us around 45k INR. For visa we went to VFS Italy. The process is smooth if you have all the necessary documentation with you. You need to book all your stays, have flight tickets etc while you book your appointment with the agency.
Research plays a very important role while planning these trips. Monument tickets, centrally located accommodation, places you want to visit etc. Having a certain route in mind is always a plus. You need to plan your day tour accordingly.
Few tips that everyone should keep in mind is to wear shoes all day, to travel via metro/tram for fastest and cheap mode of transport. Cabs are extremely expensive. The metro network is too good in Europe. Its preferred not to take 3/5/7 day pass for traveling. I researched a lot and turns out daily tickets are more affordable.
Another important thing is to carry water bottles. Every fountain has fresh drinking water which can be filled in. This will save you around 2 Euros per litre of bottle. For students and youth below 25 years of age, many monuments provide discounts. So make sure you carry your college id's.
