Florence was cheapest of cities we visited during our Europe visit. So if you want to shop, do shopping in Florence(Tip-they bargain a lot). Don't purchase from Tourist places, instead go to Market(ask anyone they know about Market). Don't purchase passes for Public Transport because all tourist places are very close to each other & once you pay Euro 1.5 (always purchase tickets from Tabachi Shop) for 90 minutes ticket again you need to purchase same while returning back only.
We started by visiting all Bridges and trust me Ponte Vecchio is the best of them all. Its beautiful and have great shops nearby. Then we went to visit Palazzo Vecchio (not that great), Piazza della Signoria (just next to Palazzo Vecchio-good place). Then it was time for The Baptistery of St. John (avoidable), followed by Dumo & a Church just next to this. Then it was time for Bronze statue of Boar-Porcellino, we can easily avoid this place. But best was Piazzale Michelangelo-before sunset. It either requires a bit of hike or a long Bus route. We opted for Hike and enjoyed the view in between. Post enjoying sunset we were all set for our next destination.
Note : this post is just based for Florence, for our whole Europe Trip there is separate post which covers all Flight Tickets and other Visa expenses.
