This place is a real treat for Landscape Photography Fanatics like me
Lauterbrunnen Valley is a true paradise if you happen to love walking or hiking, as most of the region is reportedly car-free.
Some of the key places one should visit while in Lauterbrunnen are:
Staubbach Falls – Take a walk down the valley and you will come across the mighty Staubbach Falls, where the water plummets almost 300 metres from a pendulous cliff face.
The Staubbach Falls was the inspiration for one of Goethe’s famous poems…… “Spirit song over the waters”
Trümmelbach Falls – Close to 20,000 litres of water per second cascade over the ten glacier falls from a total height of more than 200 metres…. wow !!! Making this deafening phenomenon a must visit place on your outing to Lauterbrunnen.
Männlichen – A visit to the nearby village Männlichen, promises unforgettable and unmatched moments.
The very approach to Männlichen, through the Bernese Oberland, is an experience in itself, as the Jungfrau massif and Bernese Alps become more and more impressive through the journey.
Other places one can visit from Lauterbrunnen are Mt. Schilthorn – on the trail of James Bond, Isenfluh – a typical Swiss village, Jungfraujoch – the rooftop of Europe and many more …
The Picture Perfect Landscapes, The Thundering Waterfalls, The Secluded Valleys and the Romantic Mountain Resorts truly make Lauterbrunnen one of the most beautiful places, not only on Switzerland … but the entire Earth!!!
