Being a first time visitor to Indore, I had recommendations from colleagues and friends to visit 56 shops and Sarafa food bazaar. While roaming around in the Sarafa jewelry bazaar during day time, we found it too noisy and crowded and decided to skip the night food bazaar there. But our airbnb host insisted us to visit the night food bazaar at Sarafa and I could never be enough thankful to her next day.
This always crowded, flooded with varieties of food market comes into existence everyday after 8 pm but the best time to visit is after 10 pm when every food stall is settled at its best in narrow streets of Sarafa bazaar and spirit is at its best. This legendary night food bazaar has became an identity of Indore and trust me, you will never be disappointed, no matter what your food preferences are. And let me tell you, its not routine snacks bazaar you would have visited in your home town or city market.
Yes, I am talking about varieties, that do not include typical dosa, pav-bhaji, paratha and biriyani. They are already there being part of food group but what I am going to present is really unique from Sarafa……Keep your taste buds in control because pictures here will just serve to the eyes and not to the tongue :-). And yes, real taste will soothe your taste buds for lifetime.......
And there it ended, at 2 am, after almost 3 hours of celebration :-)
Don't blame me if you have decided to visit Sarafa after this visual treat......Diet plans can always follow "next week".....:-)
