Just think of the serene beauty, Lush green forests of pine trees, Dark clouds ready to pour, chirping of birds, river burble (Sound of river water) making the peaceful environment musical and a long trail yet to discover, that's how i find TRIUND TREK is.

Day 1

A trek is all about a journey more than the destination. It was a two day trip of four friends always in rush chasing for sunset and looking for peace. We took Himsuta (Volvo bus of HP) from I.S.B.T. Sector-43 Chandigarh for Dharmshala around 10 p.m. and reached there early in the morning. Then we hired a cab for Macleodganj which is easily available and after reaching there we asked for locals for Home stay and we found one on minimal charge. After resting for almost 2 hrs we have super delicious breakfast (Paranthas in my case) and started our trek to Heaven. We choose to walk to Dharamkot which is around 5-6 Kms but anyone can hire a taxi or auto as those are easily available. We walk like that it was an endless journey and then after reaching to Mid-Way we have some snacks and Pahodo_wali_ Maggi. The beauty around us is so mesmerising that we end-up sitting there for almost an hour and clicked some pictures.

Sometimes strangers became a part of your journey which you can only express with photographs. Never miss a chance to click a beauty with your eyelids as well as lenses. By the way monsoon treks have its own benefits as you literally feel the clouds around you and valley looks much greener which make the nature more picturesque but whether conditions cause landslides and other issues that may make the trek difficult and challenging. If you are planning to trek in monsoons make sure you have all the precautions taken. We were lucky to reach successfully at the height of 9325ft. Well the higher you reach more beautiful is become but what i like in a trek is journey more than the destination and our journey is finished here.

Triund is something i can't describe in words as it was an emotion for me. The view of mighty Dauladhar Range enchant yours soul. We planned to stay in Triund Forest Guest House as camping is not allowed now-a-days. If you plan a trek to Triund make sure you have a booking there because forest officers won't allow you or you have have to return the same day.

This is what we chase for, we rush for A perfect shot of Sunset
