We boarded from Ajmer, Rajasthan (place where i am living as a paying guest). We took volvo bus for Delhi at 1am which was scheduled to reach delhi at 7am.

Hopefully we reached at time and today was dedicated to rest and local sightseeing at Gurgaon. We staying at company’s guest house which was very comfortable and a budget hotel facilitated with five star amenities.
At night we visited Cyber Hub, a place surrounded by Tech Centres which obviously has to get cheerful and lively at night times. We visited Taco Bell and Starbucks here (as we rarely found these outlets in India in current time).

So Day2 was planned for departure to Srinagar where we had booked Taj Hotel for our 2 nights stay. Today was mainly occupied with local sightseeing while tomorrow was reserved for Gulmarg Visit.
We took Ola Cab from our hotel to Delhi Airport T3. Delhi airport’s Starbucks always excites me with their special aromatic environment as well as an emotional connect to airports where seeing people depart taking a sip of your coffee always gives you nostalgic as well as loveable vibes.

We took Air Indigo. Journey was quite impressive as they upgraded us to Business Class at check-in (yes they made my day!). Crew was supportive, food was great, flight was on time, everything was great except the goosebumps which the traction and turbulence used to give us in midway.

View of slow clad mountains from your window seat always melts your heart (yes, that’s why i prefer window seat). Only thing you hope is to take a parachute and land on those mountains caring for no securities and necessities because at end, YOLO.
Food at Taj was mind-blowing, finger-licking and out of the world. Kudos to the Taj team for such an out of the way behaviour. They even offered us cake which they didn’t to all the guests (yes, we were treated as VIP :P )
Then we went for local sightseeing in hired cars including Pari Mahal (palace of Angels) and a fort out there. Weather was great and we enjoyed a lot.
So then we came back at hotel for evening meeting. Rooms were so big that even 50 people could have slept inside. Bathtub was great offering you a pleasant experience in chilled weather.
So the day ended and the next day was planned for our visit to Gulmarg and world’s second highest Gondola Ride.

So today we took our Cabs which were booked to take us from Hotel till Gulmarg.
We reached at base location from Kashmir at Gulmarg. Place was covered with snow clad mountains all around us. Feeling was no less than being in the heaven. From there, we proceeded towards our first gondola ride.
Actually way to highest point is divided into 2 rides as it is not easy for everyone to go to such heights due to atmospheric pressure and lack of oxygen issues.

So this is the second highest place a gondola can take in the world (after China). Everything was white all around.
Sitting around in a corner, eyes wide opened, dwelling into silence as cold breeze whispered lullabies in your ears, you will feel no less than being in the heaven, a heaven unaltered by the humans, sung by snowflakes and dictated by visitors, this was the place which will impact your life a lot. A place filling you with tears, tears which wanted to see to this beauty all around. Your body may grow numb there but your soul will fly on the highest waves of those auras. A place thought to lived at, a perfect haven.

Next day was departure from Srinagar. A place not seen but felt. We went to dal lake on this day.
Dal lake is a prefect place for wanderers passionately in love with life.
Visit it and fall in love with your life, again.
And hence, we reached back delhi.
A trip which will always stand first in my memory lane.
Who says Kashmir is a terrorist state.
It is, but the God’s own place.
You just need pure eyes to see its’ beauty.
