3N/4D trip to Gangtok

Me and my wife started journey on Aug,15th from Mumbai to Bagdogra (Siliguri) Airport. We didn't had any booking to travel from Bagdogra to Gangtok so we took local shared taxi (like Toofan) for which they charged 500/person (usual rate is 300-350, but since main highway was blocked due to land slide, we had to take another route which took 3 hours extra)
FYI: you can book "wizzride" shared Innova which will cost you around 760 per person but it's worth paying. You can book your seat online also.
After spending close to 6 hours finally we reached Gangtok and checked in to our hotel (summit Denzong) which is at walkable distance from MG Road.

Make sure you book your hotel near by to MG road or else you will end up spending more in local taxi and you might not get taxi during late night.

Later in the evening we booked a taxi for local sight seeing. Driver Uncle was  really nice in nature and helped me to book Nathula pass Innova at a very cheaper rate. ( His name is Mr Rupendra, Contact: 9732792636)

On Day 2nd, we went for a local sight seeing with Mr Rupendra and visited 11 places (including 2 monestry). Also we took a ropeway which was actually fun as we saw a hawk eye view of beautiful city. Local sightseeing took almost 6 hours and we came back to hotel by 5pm. Later in the evening we tried local cuisine and rolls (there's one famous shop for rolls on MG Road it self). I found liquor cheaper as compared to Maharashtra.

Next day we had planned for Nathula pass (indo china boarder). Remember you need to plan atleast 2 days in advance as the tour operator need to take approval from the military to visit Nathula pass. Theres a limit on per day visit l ( they will require Aadhar Card and One passport size pic).
We started from hotel at around 9AM and it took around 4 hours to reach Nathula pass. In between you will find many local shops for winter wears where you will get good jackets at cheaper rates (all of the jackets are made in China as many supplies enters india via this route)

Note: Security people won't allow you to take camera near check post.

On the way to Nathula, we saw beutiful Tsomgo lake.
