Trip to Devi Durga Shaktipeeth (JwalaJi& ChintapurniJi, Himachal Pradesh)

Started from Delhi Sarai Rohilla Railway Station and taken train Dhauladhar Express(14035)  for Pathankot Junction Railway Station.Dhauladhar Express starts from Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 11:15 PM and reaches Pathankot Junction next day  @8:25 AM .
Remeber Pathankot City has two major stations . Pathankot Cantt and Pathankot Junction .
This is all for Day 1.

Took Kangra Valley toy train @10:10AM for Jwalamukhi Road railway station from Pathankot Junction . Ticket cost was 25/- INR .
I can not describe the beauty of this route in words . Really awesome .You will enjoy scenic  beauty of snow capped Dhauladhar Mountain Ranges and PONG DAM TALWARA .

Alighted at Jwalamukhi Road  Railway Station and took a bus for JwalaMukhi ( Buses that are going from Dharmsala to Una passes through this route ).Distance between Jwalamukhi Road railway Station and Jwalamukhi City is Approx 20KM. One thing to note here that Himachal Pradesh Govt Buses are costly .Fare is approx 2 rs/km.So if you are budget traveller , prefer taking Punjab Roadways buses However you will find Himachal Roadways buses on frequent basis .
Alighted at Jwalaji Bus Stand and checked into Hotel . You will find AC & Non AC hotels between 500 INR to 1000 INR.

Wake Up early in the morning . Now it is time to visit famous JwalaJi temple . Distance between Jwalaji temple and Jwalaji bus stand is 500 meter .You can easily reach there .

If you have time and can trek on hills you can visit temples Tara Devi , Bhairon Baba and Tedha Mandir . These temples are located at distance of 0.5 KM , 1KM and 3kM respectively from Jwalaji temple in same direction .

Also do not forget to take prashad in Jwalaji langar bhawan .

I was very tired after yesterday trek .also it was very cold in the morning , I woke up at 10 AM in morning and checked out from hotel and took a bus to Mata Chintapurni Temple . Chintapurni temple is located at distance of 33km from Jwalaji temple . Bus ticket will cost you 60-/ Rs per person .
Due to hilly road , I would advise you not to eat too much before travel as you will face some issues like vomiting .
While travelling in Hilly areas, Start you day early in the morning and end before 5 PM.

You will enjoy this 33KM distance a lot .

Reached Chintapurni Bus stand at 1 PM and directly visited Chinpurni Mata Temple .Temple is located at distance of 800 meter from Bus stand .

After visiting temple , retuned back to Chintapurni Bus stand . Now it is time to end my jouney .Hence took a bus to AMB town from Chintapurni .From AMB Andaura railway station , taken Himachal Express train for Delhi .AMB Andaura railway station is located at distance of 2kM from AMB town .Currently I am in Himachal Express on my way to Delhi while writing this blog .

Suggestion -If you are travelling with your family , prefer taking train from Nangal Dam railway station .
