When life gives you lemons, make tequila out of it and when it gives you boredom, make a trip out of it. I have always found peace in the mountains, close to Nature. The snow clad mountains and the vintage Beatles' songs on my headset give me utmost peace. So in search of that tranquility, me and a few of my hippie comrades decided to take a break from our routine city life for a week, pack our bags and head to the mountains.

Our journey took us to this untold and unheard place called Kedar Kantha in the mountains of Uttarakhand. After seeing the place, I couldn't help but wonder if it's a paradise or a dream way. I still have to find answers though.

It was the second time I was witnessing snow covered fields. And trust me, it's never the same. They look splendid and new every single time. The mighty mountains stood tall in front of us and we were 12850 feet above sea level. It took us almost seven hours of trekking to reach that height. And it was truly worth the time and the effort.

Nights there were freezing cold and temperatures dipped below -18 degree Celsius. This harsh weather seemed nothing and became easily bearable when you took one glance at the sky. It was perhaps a first for me when I could see the galaxy I live in. So close to the heavens and yet so far. A surreal feeling completely.

In my search for the depths of Nature is still on and next I plan to go to Hampi situated in Karnataka. Stay tuned till then. Love and peace.
