Central Secretariat building was built in 1910 and administers the Government of India. It is situated in the national Capital New Delhi on the Raisana Hill and has been home to many ministers of the Cabinet of India. The Central secretariat complex has two blocks of symmetrical buildings (North Block and South Block) on opposite sides of the axis of Rajpath now being named as Kartavya Path.

Designed in Indo-Saracenic Revival architectural style by the British architect Herbert Baker, these two blocks have four levels with approx 1,000 rooms each. Together the buildings were designed to form two squares.

A beautiful sight for photographers , especially for those whose genre is architecture. The well lit complex looks stunning at night with the color changing lighting system creating magic every other minute.
