Solo Trip To Pondicherry

I started my trip from Bangalore @ 5.30 AM. As per Google maps, the trip was of 6.2 hours. It was cold and foggy morning.

I left Bangalore on my Interceptor 650 and took the route Bangalore → Hoskote → Kolar → Chittoor → Kanchipuram → Mahabalipuram → Pondicherry.

The roads were very bad so driving was a bit difficult.

I took a stop at a small restaurant at Chittoor and then finally reached Pondicherry by 2 PM.

After check-in to Hotel Le Royal Park, I rested for some time and enjoyed nice weather of Pondicherry.

Next day after having breakfast at the hotel, I went to visit Auroville. Due to small roads and huge tourist count, it took me a while to reach there. In Auroville, I went to Matrimandir. The walk from parking to Matrimandir is about 15 - 20 min. While walking towards Matrimandir, I stopped for some rest near the Banyan Tree. After some time, I walked again and reached Matrimandir. Spend some quality time there.

Post that I returned to hotel as it started to drissle.

Evening I went for walk to see the city and reached PY Cafe and Restaurant for evening snack. And later had dinner at hotel.

Next day I went to see the beaches. Morning it was raining so I started at 11 AM and reached to Serenity Beach. The beach was crowded yet enjoyable. I sat near a restaurant near the beach and had coffee. After that went to the shore of the beach.

After spending some time there, I went to Paradise Beach. At Paradise beach, I took a small boat ride and had lunch at a small place where they were serving home made fish curry.

By 4 PM I reach back hotel and relaxed.

Next day I started back to Bangalore. It was raining but very little when I started @ 5. 30 AM. This time I took the other route: Pondicherry → Tindivanam→ Tiruvannamalai → Chengam → Krishnagiri → Hosur → Bangalore.

Again the roads were very bad. I stopped for some snacks in the middle and reached Bangalore by 1PM. Till I reached Bangalore it was continuously raining.
