Day 1

Hi Friends this was my story. Its been a year now I have taken travelling seriously and this story unveils experience of my first ever solo trip.

So lets start with the story.

Its been a hactic year and I have decided to take my mandatory leave for 15 days and planned for Himanchal for solo trip. Everything was planned and I was about to start my journey with my bike just before 7 hours news came that the route I was about to take has been closed due to Landslide and heavy rainfall. I was firstly very disappointed as my entire plan got ruined. After 2 hours I called my friend and told everything regarding trip got cancelled. He suddenly opened makemytrip and booked my flight for Delhi for the same day which wasn't my plan to travel. Before completing day 1 I was in Delhi not knowing what to explore in Delhi and Where should I go further.

I reached delhi and starting checking hostels for night stay on booking.com I came accross amazing hostel called Backpackers Panda which provided me the best hospitality and guided me with a roadmap and metro map to explore Delhi in best possible way. I started my journey to explore Delhi with none other than DELHI METRO... This was my first time that I was traveling in Metro and it was indeed a new experience for me. The best part of Delhi Metro was to take daily pass for 200 bucks and you can travel in entire Delhi for a day. This makes my travel way to cheaper compare to take a cab or local rickshaw.

For me Day 1 was all about travel, getting guidance and having lots of conversation with room mates at Backpackers Panda.

Day 2

After a great day 1, I have started my day with a cup of tea and plate of omlette. I was wondering what to explore next in Delhi and I found the solution right there where owner of the tea stall guided me to explore the old delhi where Jama Masjid, Red fort is located. Considering his advise I headed towards metro and taken a daily pass so that I can travel anywhere. I reached my first stop at Qutub Minar. After exploring Qutub Minar my next stop was Redfort, Jama Masjid and Chandi Chowk.

After exploring Delhi (or should I call Dilli) I was planning to move ahead so I decided to take a bus at Night for Amritsar as I really want to see The iconic GOLDEN Temple and Wagah Border. So I booked a bus on Redbus and took a Volvo for Amritsar.

Day 3

Taking a bus ride for almost 9 hours from Delhi doesn't seems easy but let me thank that bus driver who drive it safely and provided best sleeper seat so that everyone can rest travel free. They have also provided me the facilities such as free WIFI and charging poimg so that Battery doesn't get dead. After spending night in bus I finally reach Amritsar around 7 AM in Morning and took a TukTuk for Hostel called Backpackers Nest which I booked in bus from booking.com. After taking some rest for 2 hours I met a group of foreigners trying to explore Amritsar at hostel. So I told them about my plan to visit Golden Temple and Wagah Border. And they all agreed to join me for both places.

As hostel was just a 10 min walking distance from Golden Temple. We firstly went there and spent some Quality time with the Gurus and had my first LANGAR of my life. Spending time at golden temple was one of my best memories of this trip as according to me it has a unique positive vibe that revolves around a temple which was forcing me to stay there for some more time.

After spending some quality time at Golden Temple we booked a tuktuk for 700 bucks for 5 people and the Tuktuk driver agreed to take us to Wagah border and also took us to some local places.

Day 4, 5 and 6 will publish soon.. Stay connected
