As last year was different than usual , at some point just staying home and working made us homesick and we planned to go home from Bangalore to Aligarh
We completed that journey of 2000 KM in 2 and a half day
Day 1 - Bangalore to Nagpur - 1000 km - Marriott
Day 2 - Nagpur to Gwalior - 700km- Radisson
Day 3 - Gwalior to Aligarh - 300km
But while returning back to Bangalore , we planned to explore the cities that fall in our route.
Started from Bangalore and made first stop Agra .Went to see Tajmahal early morning and chota Tajmahal in evening with barely any tourist .
It was in November so tourism was low and we got good deals on hotels too . Stayed in Holiday Inn which was 1800 rs per night with breakfast . Worked from hotel that day .
Next day we started from Agra to Orcha , Orcha is a historical rich city near Jhansi . We stayed in a riverside resort which was beautiful and serene .started from Agra at 10 am and reached by 2 pm . Went to the riverside and enjoyed the view at tea time .
Had dinner under the stars with live music
Started from Orcha to Pench National Park , which is approx 70 km before Nagpur . This is the same park which is the inspiration in Jungle Book . Started from orcha at 5 am , reached Pench by 3 Pm . Booked our self stay at Pench Jungle Camp and booked a jungle safari with same hotel only for next morning.
Spend the rest of the day explore the beautiful property which is in middle of the forest.
Started day early at 4:30 am , best part of safari is to have the breakfast in the middle of forest . the resort people pack your breakfast with you and you can have breakfast break right in the middle of forest . This was the most amazing experience .
We spotted many animals but hard luck no tiger though they have a good population .
Spent the rest of the day at leisure
Started for our next stretch to hyderabad , started at 5 am and reached hyderabad by 4 pm , stayed at holiday inn and checked in and went to explore IKEA . There were very good arrangements by IKEA to take care of covid and manage crowd
Last day home bound to Bangalore , started from Hyderabad to Bangalore at 8 am and reached by 4 pm
Whole roadtrip was amazing and once in a lifetime thing . The roads are super amazing through out , NH 44 and scenary adds in awesomeness to the whole journey .
This was very memorable and helped to rewind the whole lockdown stress , it was such an adventure of lifetime .
