Road trip to South India with Family( 6 States, 6051Kms, 26Days)

It was a dream trip for me and my family as we planned to travel for almost a month in southern part of our country, We were 6 people Me, My wife, My Daughter, My Father, My Mother & My Mother-in-law , Many things made it special and different from other road trips, firstly nobody would have ever traveled these many days and these far with both mother and mother in law sitting together at back seat :). We started from Vadodara on 24th January on our Maruti Suzuki Celerio with a hope to safely finish our journey. Route choose by us was something else but we ended up taking this route ( Vadodara > > > Lonavala > > > Goa > > > Murdeshwar > > > Udupi > > > Coorg > > > Mysore > > > Munnar > > > Thekkady > > > Kochi > > > Kanyakumari > > > Rameshwaram > > > Madurai > > > Bangalore > > > Hampi > > > Pune > > > Vadodara. Roads throughout the journey were awesome and it was not at all tiring to drive from one place to the other because of awesome roads with surrounded beauty and my love for driving, For those who love to drive and go for road trips, I would suggest to take a road trip from Mysore to Munnar at least once in a lifetime, It was the best and toughest road i have been to, 27 Hair pin bends and the surrounded beauty makes this journey the best among all. So many things to share from this journey but i would like to keep it short and just describe the outer picture. I was the only 1 driving throughout the journey and among us 3 were 45+age and my daughter 2+ so we took proper stop of 1 to 4 nights at all the places mentioned depending upon the place and interest of everyone. We planned this trip specifically in this month because of decent weather and less tourist.(Exam time + appraisal & increment time ;) ). At Every place we went, We booked and arranged somewhat different kind of accommodation Lonavala -> Relative's Bungalow , Goa -> 2BHK farm house in Guirim , Udupi -> Hotel Shri Krishna Residenct, Coorg -> Hotel Highton hill, Mysore -> Olive residency, Munnar -> Jungle Villa (it was awesome), Thekkady -> Hotel vedanta wakeup, Kochi -> International Hotel, Kanyakumari ->Hotel Trisea, Rameshwaram -> Hotel temple tower, Madurai -> Star residency hotel, Bangalore -> Relative's flat, Hampi -> Vijayshree heritage resort, Pune -> Friend's flat. We got lot of good discounts and deals at different websites and we only spent 31kINR in 25 nights of our accommodation. only once we had flat Tyre en route to Hampi, rest our car did pretty well. Each and everyone of us enjoyed a lot and had created memories which we will cherish for lifetime. We want to thank all our friends and relatives and specially the people we met during this journey.
