Puri (Odisha)- The Soul Of Incredible India

We went to Puri on 6th March, 2019.To be honest, we have already seen the sea before,in Digha..but the beauty of 'Bay of Bengal' is just awesome in Puri..We had our reservation in Dhauli express from Howrah.That was a horrible experience for me.If I'll go to visit puri again in my life, I'll not go there by this train.By the way, we reached Puri at 3pm.After that we went to Marine Drive beach by a auto.I was very excited to see the convex sea.Getting on the auto, after 15 minutes we saw the vast sea.I wished to run to the sea..But that was not possible.Because I was too tired.After leaving the auto, we faced the same problem like other times. Unfortunately we met with a broker. He took us to a resort. Named Laxmi Resort. Really the resort was very beautiful. Just as I thought. If you want, you can stay in this resort.Now, I've no picture of this resort. But I uploaded the picture of the card of this resort ,below. We're 4people in our room. We chose an ac room to avoid the warm weather. At first we had to pay 1500rs. for the room.But at last we got the room 1100rs.ight.Not too cheap?. Then went to be fresh and went to have our lunch. Yes, I want to tell you something. The cost of the foods in resort was too high. So, we decided to have our lunch from outside. Then we went to a hotel from the resort. The food was literally third class. But I was too hungry, so I ate all the food. Then we decided that we wouldn't eat there again. After having our lunch we couldn't able to handle ourselves. We went down to the sea. After having a bath we came back to the hotel.Being fresh again we went to the beach. I didn't want to stay in the room. There were many shops in the sea beach. Sitting there we watched the sunset with a cup of tea in Puri for the first time . In the evening, the beach was filled by the shops. We can spend all the time here.Now It was the time for our dinner. Then we found a Bengali restaurant, a little far from our hotel.The name of the hotel was Vuri Vojon. So, we had done our dinner there at night.Really, how many times I'll go to Puri,I'll have food from there.I can say with a gurentte, you'll also enjoy too much.I also uploaded the picture of the card of the hotel. You won't have any problems. After having our dinner we went to the beach for a walk and then we came back to our resort.That's how, we spent our first day in puri.

Next day, in the morning, I saw the most beautiful sunrise in my life.Seeing that, my mind was filled with joy. Yes,I want to tell you something.If you wake up late in the morning you'll miss the sunrise.And you can enjoy the view of sunrise with a bowl of Maggie.It was nice to eat Maggie sitting on the beach. The 2nd day we went down to the sea..We bathed in the sea all the day long..but yes, let me say one thing you can do anything whatever you want,but carefully.That day was over by taking a bathe in the sea.Unfortunately, we couldn't go to the Jagannath temple.But, you must not miss the chance to visit the temple.Otherwise the puri trip will remain unfinished.

Today we are took an AC Bus and cover the Sightseeing spots. Thr whole day sightseeing cost is around 2000 rs with lunch.

1- Chandrabhaga Golden Beach- Chandrabhaga beach is situated three km east of the Sun temple of Konark, in the Puri district in the state of Odisha, India. Chandrabhaga is 30 km from the city of Puri.

Chandrabhaga beach on the coast of Konark becoming Asia’s first to get the Blue Flag certification.

2- Konark Sun Temple- Konark Sun Temple is a 13th-century Sun temple at Konark about 36 kilometres northeast from Puri on the coastline Odisha, India. The temple is attributed to king Narasingha Deva of the Eastern Ganga Dynasty about 1250 CE.

3-Nandankanan Zoological Park- Nandankanan Zoological park is a botanical garden in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Established in 1960, it was opened to the public in 1979 and became the first zoo in India to join World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) in 2009. It is located near the capital city, Bhubaneswar, in the environs of the Chandaka forest , and includes the 134-acre Kanija Lake.

4- Lingaraj Temple- Lingaraj Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. And it is one of the oldest temples in Bhubaneswar, the capital of the Indian state of Odisha. Lingaraj temple is the major tourist attractions of the state.

5- Udaygiri and khandagiri caves- Udaygiri and Khandagiri basically known Cuttack caves. The caves are situated near the city of Bhubaneswar in Odisha, India. The caves are situated on two Hill's. Udaygiri and Khandagiri mentioned as Kumari Parvat. Udayagiri means "Sunrise Hill" and has 18 caves while Khandagiri has 15 caves.

The 4th day, again we bathed in the sea all the day long.we were not ready to go back home, leaving the sea..

5th day, in the early morning, we went back on our way to home by saying a good bye to puri.
