Obscure hill stations in India

There are very popular hill stations all across India with where everyone wants to go and most of the tourist are going. So now those hills stations looks over crowed and little expensive as well.

I am trying to list down few hill stations which are lesser know for your summer travel.

1) Chatpal, Jammu and Kashmir

Very few are aware of this hill station and it is located just 90 kms form Srinagar. Here you can get a glimpse of the scenic valleys and the best part being lesser know is it not touristy crowed and economical at the same time.

2) Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh

It is beautiful district and lately got popular for it's captivating sightseeing spots. This quiet hill station is also famous for it's several buddhist monasteries.

3) Bir, Himachal Pradesh

It is located 30 kms from well know hill town Baijnath in Himachal Pradesh. And everyone know Bir as Paragliding Capital of India. This is a best choice for people who are seeking adrenaline rush and I highly recommend to go.

4) Jawhar, Maharashtra

Let's move towards south and explore Jawhar Hill station which is located just 165 kms from Mumbai. People also call it Mahabaleshwar of Thana. If you are in Mumbai then it can be a perfect spot if you are not going to Mahabaleshwar or LOnavala.

5) Raithal, Uttarakhand

I can bet that most of you have never heard this name, this small town located just 45 kms from Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand. This place is away from hustle and bustle of city and also no tourist rush in this place.
