Hot Air Balloon And Paramotoring Tourism
The paramotoring flights and hot air balloon rides are monitored under strict supervision. If you wish to go paramotoring, the pilot will accompany one person at a time while hot air balloons will have up to four individuals at a time during the ride.
The hot air balloon rides have been introduced in order to attract more tourists towards the West as currently tourists only go to the East to spot tigers.
The region is blessed with dense forests and gorgeous landscapes making it a perfect spot for hot air balloon rides and adventure sports in Kolitmara. This initiative will also provide employment to the local youth attracting both adventure lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.
Location and Timing Details
Getting there: Kolitmara gate is one of the entry points for Pench Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra. It is located a 2-hour drive away from Nagpur, where the nearest airport and railway station are located.
Cost of ride: You can go on a hot air balloon ride just for INR 1,500 or enjoy the thrill of paramotoring at just INR 2,500.
Timings and best time to visit: The safari timings are 6 AM to 11 AM and 2.30 PM to 6 PM, and the best time to visit is from October to June.
