My love with travel started through a Tamil movie where the protagonist gets into drugs after his Girlfriend died in the bomb blast during his visit to USA. He got addicted to drugs and started becoming more violent when his father tries to keep the drugs away from him, Finally, his Mother suggested him to travel somewhere for a peace of mind and it worked and he comes home with a new leaf by finding it easy to reject drugs and alchohol. The Movie name is Varanam Ayiram.
Few months after watching the movie, My love for travel has started and I took a solo trip to Delhi and Dehradun through flight. Slowly, My travel bug hit me as I started to travel as one of my 1st ever trip after graduation as Goa. It was absolutely beautiful and I took some photos and shared my experience, Those photos and articles got positive reviews even though my sentence formation needed some improvement. Then I visited Madurai, Delhi, Amritsar, Chandigarh and Agra which made me forget my negative experiences and started living a life.
My love for travel grew as I enjoyed taking pictures and writing articles on tripoto without getting the consequences of negative feedback. Soon I wrote more articles and I felt more dedicated and responsible person due to my passion of travelling. On 2015, I have resigned 2 jobs which was not my cup of tea. And travelled through my savings by visiting Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Kolkata and Nagpur. The more photos I took, the more creative juice was flowing through out my body.
Due to my passion for travelling, I developed self confident, audacity and trying new places and thiings. Movies like Yeh Jawani hai diwani and Zindagi na Milegi dobara has motivated me to keep my passion running when im not travelling. Lot of positive changes happened like minimizing the unnecessary expenditure, Opening a Fixed Deposit on my 1 st abroad trip to Srilanka has made me feel alive and witnessed the beautiful version of life and its nature.
There were some instances where I get frustrated thoughts while travelling due to train delay or other bad incidences. I developed calmness and used my brain efficiently to handle the situation well. Travel was indeed like an education to make me a better person, with the good vibes coming from travelling, I Finally took my international trip for the first time solo and I felt proud and happy that im the only person in my family to travel overseas. I kept feeding my passion for travelling by developing good habits like patience, taking help from strangers, eating local food ec.
So far, I have travelled close to 30 cities and I enjoyed every trip. My last trip was an year ago where I visited Dharamshala before the week of nation wide lockdown. I experienced ice storms, travelling minimalisstically and kept my Instagram and website updated with travel related content and arm chair travelling. Despite the obstacles, Travelling has helped me that nothing is impossible and lead a life with freedom I am still getting good responses from my Instagram and that make me feel proud and happy. Then I made my website user-friendly which was well appreciated by the target audience. Now at this Coronavirus pandemic Im now feel iike im in a long distance relationship with travel and it indeed brought me hope and creative ideas of arm chair travelling on my insagram account.
Finally, despite travel being an expensive hobby, I worked and brainstormed new ways of earning money through travelling and make me think big and a satisfaction of earning money through travel.
I feel happy about today’s generation are spending their time & career they are more interested and add color to their life.
In the future, I plan to help poor people explore abroad at an affordable price. Till then keep scrolling my instagram page and take a look at our travel wallpapers which launched in an e-store.
