12th March 2023: We Had Left Kolkata by car and was on our way to see the Seven sister's states of the North East. We did not see one because of political issue. We left early in the morning and we went across Farraka Bridge which was across the river Ganges in the Murshidabad District. We stopped by at Behrampore for some breakfast then we proceeded to Siliguri. As we were on the way to Silliguri we saw many tea plantations by the side of the road. Then as we reached silliguri we checked into the hotel at Ramada Encore Hotel Siliguri.
13th March 2023: Next day from Ramada Hotel Siliguri we proceeded our journey to Darjeeling. As we reached Darjeeling we saw some beautiful tea plantations of Darjeeling. we checked into another Ramada Hotel in Darjeeling for some breakfast then we proceeded back to Siliguri hotel and spent the night there
14th March 2023: We Checked out from Ramada Hotel Siliguri then we proceeded our journey to Guwahati Assam. As we left early in the morning. We saw the beautiful Glimpse of the sun at sunrise from Jalpaiguri... We passed by many Tea Estate or garden on the way that is Gairkata Tea Estate, Tasati Tea Estate. The we stopped by at Jiva Veg restaurant for some lunch. Then we proceeded our journey to Kurseong. We passed by Darjeeling saw some train Tracks and the famous Toy Train station at Darjeeling. Then as we went higher we reached Kurseong Valley. We had entered Guwahati in Assam. We continue travelling after a long drive we had reached Meghalaya where we checked into "The Centre Point Hotel" in shillong and relaxed the night away
15th March 2023: After relaxation at the hotel. We were on another venture today. We went to see the famous Dawki River of Meghalaya which was on the border of India and Bangladesh and then on the way to Mawlynnong village which is suppose to be the cleanest village of Meghalaya. Roads were covered with Fog all around as we found it difficult to drive through the fog as we need full concentration. After our visit to those interesting places we returned back to the hotel
16th March 2023: Next day we checked out from The Centre Point Hotel Shillong. Now we were on our way to back to Assam. There we checked into the The Novotel Hotel in Guwahati Assam.
17th March 2023: We Checked out from The Novotel Hotel in Guwahati Assam and we were on our way to Imphal which was at Manipur. We Checked into Hotel Dani Continental in Imphal. After checking into the hotel Dani Continental we freshen up a little then we were excited to see so many places to see around Imphal and Pictures to capture. Our first stop was Kangra Fort. There was a ritual festival which was happening outside the fort so we were unable to see the fort from inside. Next we went to Sadu Chiru Waterfall... I did go halfway up the steps but due to uneven and broken steps i was not able to see the waterfalls. We saw Imphal International Airport. Then our next stop was Loktak Lake... We were amazed by the beauty of Loktak Lake floating circular swamps, which are called phumdis in the local tongue. Our Next stop was Moirang INA Museum. Its a must visit for all if you ever come to Manipur as this is the place where Netaji and his Azaad hind army marched from burma and set his foot on Indian Soil to give Indian Independence. We were amazed by the INA Museum as every year on April 14th 1941. It is celebrated as Moirang Day or Diwas. After admiring the beauty of the museum. We went to see the India Peace Memorial. We captured the pictures from outside since we were getting late and long way back to the hotel. Then we saw. Then we proceeded to Manipur Legislative Assembly, We were not allowed to take pictures of the structure. Then we went back to the hotel and relaxed as we had a long day ahead of us.
18th March 2023: Next Day we checked out from the hotel Dani Continental Imphal we were on our way to Kohima but before going to Kohima. We saw the Kangra Fort at Imphal from Inside this time and it was amazing beauty with two moats Outer and Interior Moats of the fort. Then after Kangra Fort we were on our way to Kohima City soon we reached Kohima and we checked into Niraamaya Aradura Retreat in Kohima... The Interior decor was really amazing with lots of Natural and tribal artifacts.
19th March 2023: Next Day we checked out from Aradura Retreat in Kohima and we were on our way back to Siliguri. As we Left Kohima we passed by Mountains of Kohima as you know Kohima is famous for its Mountains. Soon we reached Siliguri and checked into the Hotel Radisson Blu
