"Life is a journey that must be travelled no matter how challenging the roads and accommodations"
My Journey is quite different from others in many ways, I am Raipur Based Gujarati girl who belonged to a middle class family and completed my graduation in commerce from PTRS University Raipur chhattisgarah.
I wanted to become a Radio jockey since I started listening to FM radio in my city which launched around 2011 Radio Mirchi was first Radio station back then, but when I told my parents about my passion they clearly said no as they want me to pursue MBA and then do a 9-5 back office job as per them Media field is not good for girls I don't blame them even because my mother is from small village and she afraid of all these fancy lifestyle, glamor and media especialy and so I lost my hope as well but that dream inside me was alive:) Par Kehte hai na kisi cheez ko Shiddat se Chaho to sari qaynaat Tumhe Usese milane ki koshish me lag Jati hai ye mere saath Hua - I was pursuing MBA in HR as my parents decide I should do this only but then after 2nd semester we all got selected for internship and I got selected for a Radio station trust me when I am saying this I have the same feeling I had that day I know it was not for RJ but I got chance to work in Radio station and that time it was a huge deal for me. while I was doing my internship everything was going great and one day Production manager of that station gave me complement that your voice is really different you can try your hands on Voice over come inside the studio someday will test your voice I freaked out and I said ya sure lets go :D he sense my excitement and then he was very sweet to me that he tought me basics of voice what is modulations, voice exercise etc. then I started practicing that at home and after 20 days he took my voice sample and directly mailed it to the station head and director that this girl has talent and I am not kidding you every was like a dream they loved my voice and your girl got selected not for Admin job but for Radio intern, but I have to convince my parents for the same luckily they kind of ok for it coz It was after my classes and from then no looking back I learnt radio in 6 months got a weekend show on Radio which went On air on 13 December 2014 best day of my life parents were equally happy listening me on Radio they started getting calls from relatives because they didn't had clue that radio is the next revolution In media sector.
When you really desire something from the heart and soul, all the universe conspires you to achieve it. Then two of my leading shows PINK and Yeh Sham Mastani were extremely famous in Chhattisgarh and help me to create my own identity. one of my biggest achievement was my show PINK got selected for RJ exchange program 2018 by US consulate it was first ever RJ exchange program in the history of India organized by Foreign press center Washington DC, where Top 5 RJ's of the country got selected to represent their state. it was 20 days long program started from Washington, Nashville, San Fransisco and New York where we talked about our state, culture, communities and exchange ideas about the same with foreign press center they also talked about the freedom of press in the USA, how things work here and how it can be improvised all of us got interviewed in FM station of USA WSM radio Nashvile and Radio Dihotties San fansisco etc.
Then Why I Left This Well Paid Job?
USA was my first international trip and I wanted it to be memorable one so I decide to vlog the entire journey and I did it and that was the turning point of my life at the same time when I got back to India our organization dealing with some license issue and later in 3-4 months it got shut I can't talk much about our organization where I was working since 2014-2018 because 4 years were solid life learning to my own identity, so it was the time I decide not to join any other station though I got offer from one of the leading FM channel in JAIPUR but I was looking for break because traveler inside me was popping up and I wanted to start my Youtube channel I shifted to Delhi with no plan only thing I knew was I will travel 15 days in month and rest I will explore Delhi and learn new things by living alone in metro city because I was obviously born and bought up in small town, But I managed to convince my parents and settled down in Gurgaon.
I started exploring Himachal, Uttarakhand and many places around Delhi, no looking back from then. yes I have seen so many sleep less nights, crying inside pillow, even broke sometime but as I worked for 4 years I had some savings but it won't last for long you know and travel Blogging require money, patience and hard work I am still not there after almost 2 years living in Delhi but I feel so good that I choose this for my living because I've learned how to live conscious life, how to live with minimum resources, how to plan budget trip, how to fight for your own even with Auto wale bhaiya :D
I have baggage Filled with memories, smiles, dreams, hope, moments which I will cherish for life:)
