My Five Wonderly States of India

I was 5 when I first picked my bags , wore my new shining pink shoes and went off to explore the winds of Sikkim. Travelling to me is the recipe of freedom; mix your passion with a spoon of dare, and a pinch of risk, add an ounce of adventure, and my recipe is complete. I started travelling solo post leaving my home-town for higher education. The pain and the gain of travelling solo can never be explained in any form. It is that space when you realize that this world has shades of all colors. You step out from your safe haven , and step in a world which may be extremely gruesome but at the same time heavenly beautiful. I have traveled across my country , and have visited places and cultures that cannot be found on the local search engines. From the pristine beaches of extreme south, to the wild ,free, intense, and the unforgivable mountains of the Himalayas, from the scenic beauty of seven sisters to the culturally rich states of the West, I have lived and witnessed it all.

This article would talk about my five most favorite states of the country. It was difficult selecting only five as India is home to so many wonders of the World. Blessed by nature's bounty, India has it all. Confounded by the picturesque villages and towns, dense forest , gushing waterfalls, towering mountains, holy rivers or the beautiful coastline bounded by three great sea , each state has itz own story, itz own culture and itz own beauty. This article is purely based on my personal experiences and insight, I would love to hear about your personal favorites.

1. North East (Seven States )

I tried dividing the seven sisters in states but then all the sisters would have been my favorite and this article would never have ended.. No single picture can define and justify the beauty of our far east land, Northeast but the detailed post has already been published here in my blog and on facebook.

This place is my personal favorite and no matter what, this is a must place to visit in your Lifetime.. The pic here is one of the scariest trek of mine , #Safarshotz on the way to double root bridge and Rainbow falls.

2. Kashmir

Second on the list is Kashmir, the true heaven on earth.

The crown of our country is again a must visit place if you are planning for your long vacations. The scrumptious food and the blooming flowers, the beautiful Himalayas and the gorgeous lakes will forever leave a print in your heart and mind. #Safarshotz #Clicksafarr

3. Uttarakhand

The Devbhoomi is third on list. Be it the snow capped mountains or the lush greenery all across the state 😍 the valley of flowers or the confluence of rivers, Uttarakhand has plenty to offer to all the nature lovers around.

4. Tamil Nadu

Fourth from the list is Tamil Nadu *_* Travel the extremes and be ready to be enthralled by the natural beauty of this state . You will find the neighboring state of Kerela equally mesmerizing and beautiful

The cities and the small towns have their own beauty. plan your short vacation in exploring the different sides of this state. Explore the nature abundance in few of the cleanest hill stations of India. Treat your sweet tooth with the amazing home made chocolates made in the hill stations of the state.

5. Himachal Pradesh, India

Mountain towns and the frozen river treks, the presence of various monasteries and the home of Dalai Lama, Himachal Pradesh is truly blessed with the best of everything. Enjoy your li'l vacation in the lap of nature❤️
