My First solo trek

Hey guys this is my first travel blog on my first solo trek to Manali I actually did this trek when I was in 8th std

It all started with a dream to trek in the mountains of Himalayan ranges in Manali . Guess who inspire me to think about it?  Yes, it was non other than Deepika Padukone from "Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani". And to my surprise, on my birthday my parents had gifted me  with a adventurous  trek to Dhobi (Manali).  I was on cloud nine after  receiving it.
I started  packing  up my bags with lots of dreams and zeal. In the mid of the May we started with our flight journey from Pune to Delhi. I was accompanied with one of my close friend Mrunal. In Delhi we coordinated with the "Youth Hostel Association" and the other members of the group also joined us.
The base camp was located in Dhobi near Manali and this is the place where actual show started. I was nervous as well as excited because it was the first time I was travelling alone. The trek was of 12 days with lots of adventure as I was doing them for the first time. During the trek I came across various experiences.
Snow Trekking was something I had been watching it on the TV and also wanted to do once in my life time and Youth Hostel gave me this opportunity. The experience was mesmerizing.
Rappelling was a trilling experience as we had to climb down from a rock which was around 40-42 feet using a harness. I wasn't nervous but excited about it. I completed it smoothly in less time so my trainer praised me for this.
It was not scheduled but we decided to go for River Rafting. Despite my mother saying no I gathered courage to do it. We did it in Bias River which was freezing cold. Everyone was a bit afraid but we all enjoyed the Toofani moment.
The journey that started alone, ended with making lots of friends, memories and photographs. As they say first experience is always memorable same happened with me. I will cherish these memories life long.
