My Aha Moment

There are some scenes etched in your memories. Close your eyes and the moment flashes. You experience the same feeling again. It is that moment when you saw something so beautiful that you couldn't believe your eyes at first. You were stunned and overpowered by an unknown force. Your heart was filled with happiness and your eyes smiled. You felt blood rushing in your veins. You sensed a kind of freedom . You were laughing or just standing still. You thanked GOD for giving you the senses to live this moment. You became one with nature. And that was your “AHA” moment. I would like to recite my those moments. Luckily I experienced these moments more than once –   

Ladakh

I really can't pinpoint which moment was exactly my aha moment. When I saw the beautiful barren mountains or the first sight of the Pangong Lake or the magical starry night sky or the beautiful sunrise. I am still besotted by Ladakh.

Anse Lazio Beach, Seychelles

The first glimpse of the water, and I remember myself flinching my eyes. I have never seen sea this blue. I was looking at my husband and then at the waters and then simply laughing.

Interlaken, Switzerland

We reached Inter-laken at night during March. We went into the youth hostel we booked and slept. Next morning as I woke up,and looked out of the window I saw the snow covered mountains. Everything was white. My first snow and I was beaming. Roaming around the beautiful city with lakes beside it. It was pure bliss.

Cambridge University, London

 

OMG was my first reaction. Is this a university? If ever I decide to do my masters abroad, I would definitely do here. These thoughts echoed in my head. Students with books lying on the grass. Students sitting with books under the tree, river flowing by.. I was mesmerized with the concept of living there as a student.

Edinburgh, Scotland

Am I in the 21st Century??Where am I?  The city gives you feel of a bygone era. The beautiful magnificent castle,the delightful architecture of the city, it is nothing like what I have seen till date.

I am sure all of us who traveled must have had this moments. Close your eyes and cherish them again.
